MKII Rear Lower Clevis Pin

The link that connects the majority of the rear suspension together.  Made from measurements of chassis 1032.

The MKII is a more robust version, with thicker sections at the clevis end and radiused locating flats.  The MKII was originally made from billet, while the MKI were from forging.  Interchangeable with the MKI version.

A true work of art.  Each clevis begins as a 10 lb billet of Aircraft-Quality, Cold-Formed, Annealed 4340 material, and weighs just 1 lb when completed.  

Each clevis is rough machined, heat treated, hardness tested, and then hard turned/milled to final dimensions.  All done in-house to ensure the required tight tolerances are maintained.

To prevent any risk of hydrogen embrittlement, the clevises are finally plated with Magni 565, a two-stage aerospace process that does not use electroplating.

Custom washers that are relieved to give clearance for the generous under-head radius are also included, made of 4130N and zinc plated.

The MKII design has locating flats on one side only for increased strength, and therefore is left/right specific.
